When Dianna first reached out to me, she had what she called a “slightly wild idea.” One that felt a bit out the gate, maybe even too bold for the industry she was in. I told her, “You’ve come to the right person.”
Two birds of a feather, some might say — made for bold, kickass ideas that get shit done.
On December 27th, 2024, I sat down with Dianna and her business partner Sheila, who had flown all the way from Canada for a marketing consult. That alone told me everything I needed to know: They weren’t here to muck around. They were here to muck in.
We unpacked their big idea — strategically, creatively, and with full transparency. Not just what they wanted to build, but why it mattered. Who it was for. What it could shake up.
The result? Realising nothing is too crazy — and building a platform designed to shake up a stale, recycled, and frankly, propaganda-laced agricultural news stories Mud Media was sick of seeing everywhere.
Together, we shaped the bones of what would become Mud Media: a bold, raw and real platform delivering agricultural journalism that cuts through the noise. No fluff. Just honest stories, powerful commentary, and visuals from the front lines of the agriculture industry.
Fast forward to early 2025 — and I got to work on building them a digital home that felt as unfiltered and fearless as their mission.
The result? A purpose-built website that makes space for:

All designed to give Mud Media the tools to inform, disrupt and inspire — on their terms. This was more than a website. This was a movement taking form. A long-overdue shift in the way agricultural industry stories are told.
